Is the function f(x)^2-3x^4+3/4 x-7 a polynomial function? If so, please state its degree and the leading coefficient.

Yes, it is a polynomial function, because it is a function consisting of several terms that can't be added together without knowing x. 

It is a 4th degree polynomial, since it's highest degree term, the term with the highest exponent, (3x⁴), which has a degree of 4.
