For this case we can do the following:

[tex]\frac{3\cdot5+2}{5}+\frac{4\cdot8+7}{8}=\frac{17}{5}+\frac{39}{8}[/tex]

And then the sum would be given by:

[tex]\frac{17}{5}+\frac{39}{8}=\frac{331}{40}[/tex]
