discount amount=d%ofmp=5/100×0.25cp=0.0125cp

sp=mp-discount=1.25cp-0.0125cp=1.2375cp

profit%=(sp-cp)/cp×100%=(1.2375cp-cp)/cp×100%=0.2375cp/cp×100%=0.2375×100%=23.75%
