3  1/2  *    6  1/2

3  1/2  to improper fraction =    (3*2 + 1) / 2 = 7/2

6  1/2  to improper fraction =    (6*2 + 1) / 2 = 13/2

3  1/2  *    6  1/2  =  7/2  * 13 /2 =  91 / 4

91 / 4

= 22    3 /4           square unit
