There are 4 outcomes on spinning the first wheel and 2 outcomes on spinning the second wheel. So the tree diagram will have 4 nodes at the start and each of these 4 nodes will be further divided into 2 nodes. First 4 nodes show the possible outcomes on spinning of first wheel and next nodes show for every possible outcome on spinning of first wheel there can be 2 possible outcomes of the second wheel. Total possible outcomes of first wheel = 4
Favorable outcome is getting a 2. So number of Favorable outcome = 1
Thus, probability of getting a 2 = 1/4 = 0.25
Total possible outcomes of second wheel = 2
Probability of getting an A = 1/2 = 0.5
The probability of getting either a 2 or an A = Sum of the both individual probabilities
So,
If you spin both wheels the probability that you get either a 2 or an A = 0.75
